POSITION OBJECTIVE Manage the dealer field sales organization to achieve plans and budgets. P& L responsibility
This position will manage the dealer field sales organization to achieve monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sales budgets while working closely with the EVP, Sales and Business Development to define and execute strategies that will continue to drive increasing revenue, profit and growth of the Dealer Business.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strategic working relationships with dealer partners.
Lead recruitment of new dealers in selected markets.
Analyze, plan and implement business and sales development programs, processes, procedures and practices for the KM dealer and distributor business.
Develop strategic planning process with Dealer Owners to drive transformation and increase KM services such as All Covered and Enterprise Content Management
Begin top grading process to accelerate the dealer support talent to further position KM as the primary providers in the industry; service led organization
Command strong knowledge of the dealer P&L and implement programs across key areas that require focus.
Command a strong working knowledge of leading technology and understand how to apply it to our future workplace strategy.
Actively develop pricing and promotional programs with Marketing to drive sales growth and profitability
Work closely with Direct Region Presidents, Marketing, Finance, Administration, Service, Corporate Management and Dealer partners to collaborate and executive strategies to meet fiscal and future goals.
Lead development of business plans, quotas, sales programs, dealer development programs, major account pricing approvals and all other associated activities as directed by the EVP of Sales and Business Development to increase profits, MIF, MCV and achieve business strategies, objectives and goals.
Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach and develop a high performing team of sales talent.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree required/ Master’s degree preferred/ or equivalent years of experience.
10+ years of experience as a successful senior level sales executive.
10+ years of experience in dealer and/or direct channels of distribution in the office equipment industry.
OTHER SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Successfully managed full P&L with annual sales in excess of $100M.
Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor and grow a team of sales professionals.
Strong leadership experience and competitive drive.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
