The Virtualization Analyst is primarily responsible for the end user experience of All Covered’s virtual products by interacting with clients and employees via managed endpoints. These endpoints could be workstations, laptops, virtual machines, thin clients, mobile devices, and other form factors. The Virtualization Analyst serves as support arm to the Subject Matter Expert and Service Desk in the areas around the deployment, management, training, security, and support of these devices. The Virtualization Analyst will support enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) among several others.
Duties and Essential Role Functions:
-Storage and related storage systems and distributed infrastructure
-Enterprise compute and related virtualization platforms
-Service Management and related best practices for ITIL
-Network and related network enterprise network capabilities
-Strong familiarity with public and private cloud architectures and migration techniques
-Understanding of desktop and mobile solutions across the enterprise
-Experience working with business principles, practices and economics
Training is an essential part of continued growth at All Covered. As such, travel will be required for a week of off-site New Hire Training. This training is generally conducted within the 1st three (3) months of employment with the company. Additional skills training will also be available and further travel within the U.S. may be required for this position.
