Job Description

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc is currently seeking a Technical Writer.

The position is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for software applications developed by Konica Minolta's Solutions Engineering Center (SEC). Candidate may also be required to conduct software application testing (QA) and software application training as needed.


  • Work with programmers, application developers, project managers, and other individuals to collect all information necessary to create Specifications, User Reference Guides, Application Help files, as well as any other required documentation needed to support software applications developed by Konica Minolta's Solutions Engineering Center.
  • Create product brochures and any other marketing literature needed for software applications developed by SEC.
  • Conduct Training as needed on software applications developed by SEC.
  • Conduct QA testing on SEC developed software applications.

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years of work related experience
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and HTML
  • Proficient at HTML for creating in-application help files and content for web server distribution
  • Must be able to work with various web browsers (Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome)
  • Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to translate technical issues into language understood by business owners
