POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position provides day-to-day leadership and direct supervision of a team of generally non-exempt associates in a designated area (for example, Lease Administration, Meters, Billing, CRC’s, Order Processing, Master Agreement Maintenance, etc.). The incumbent in these positions is expected to provide all supervisor level aspects of personnel leadership while maintaining expert level knowledge of his/her assigned area in order to train team members, perform analysis, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure team is appropriately staffed and performing to expectations and Company policies
  • Train team members as needed
  • Assign workload and ensure adequate coverage for peak processing times
  • Serve as first escalation point for issues within assigned team’s responsibility
  • Evaluate staff and provide performance feedback to associates and management
  • Perform routine personnel management tasks (time off approvals, time sheet verification, rewarding of outstanding performance, initiation of disciplinary actions when necessary, etc.)
  • Review operating performance for assigned team and recommend opportunities for process improvement
  • Participate in cross functional process improvement teams

    Job Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent
  • Supervisory experience or related demonstrated aptitude
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Well organized and process oriented
  • Strong customer service orientation (internal and external)
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and field and headquarters management
  • Good people leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse/Business Objects or demonstrated ability to quickly learn these tools
  • Strong team orientation (with Sales, Logistics, Credit, other parts of Corporate Administration, etc.)
  • Position may require approximately two months initial training in our Windsor, CT facility.
