Job Description

Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Corporate Auditor for its headquarters located in Ramsey, NJ. This position will be responsible for audit planning and preparation including risk assessment. The incumbent will also assist with establishing best practices to ensure compliance and driving toward meeting / exceeding business objectives. The position will report to the Director, Corporate Audit.

  • Assist with audit planning and preparation by documenting and evaluating audit objectives, and preparing and/or adapting audit programs
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with auditees and build knowledge of business processes, objectives, risks and controls
  • Conduct audits and reviews of assigned organizational and functional activities that evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls over those activities
  • Prepare audit work-papers that clearly support audit conclusions
  • Prepare written reports summarizing audit observations and make recommendations designed to strengthen internal controls and promote improved efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Assist in presenting audit results to auditees and management
  • Track and follow-up on identified audit issues to ensure adequate remediation measures are implemented
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen departmental infrastructure, including standard tools, templates, policies and procedures
  • Assist in risk assessment activities and the creation of annual audit plans
  • Participate in special projects as need arises

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Accounting, Technology or Information Systems
  • 3-5 years accounting, internal audit or public accounting experience
  • CPA or CIA Preferred
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, COSO internal control framework and IIA Standards
  • Financial, operational, and IT risk and control evaluation skills
  • Experience in work-paper documentation and audit program development preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Willingness to travel (15%)
