Job Description

Objective:
The goal of the Selling Sales Manager is two-fold; developing and directing sales activity to ensure volume and revenue objectives are exceeded within the assigned territory as well as manage a book of business. The Selling Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining a successful sales team through the effective implementation of staffing, training, and performance management tools. This person will work closely with other Sales Managers , Sales Representatives, and other internal teams to ensure a high level of quality and communication. The candidate should be an independent producer and willing to accept challenges on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead and Manage assigned Account Executive Team
    -Conduct monthly one on ones to review performance, forecasts, and potential training opportunities
  • Utilize Building a Quality Company Curriculum
  • Manage all sales and sales related functions for the assigned Document Solutions Team to include, but not limited to:
    -Maintaining account assignments, knowledge of sales technology tools, coordination with internal teams, day to day sales activity
  • Participate in developing annual sales budgets
  • Obtain and maintain technical and social skills to be seen as an internal resource
  • Achieve revenue, MPS, and gross income goals for the specified territory and individual production as measured against budget.
  • Analyze diverse data and proactively identify issues
  • Communicate effectively with direct reports, clients, peers, and executive management
  • Work as a part of cross-functional teams to develop new products and better ways of doing things across departments
  • Measure results with effective metrics
  • Maintain a high awareness of changes in the industry

    Toughest Parts of the Job:
    The candidate must have the ability to maintain professionalism and high levels of customer service while balancing multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment. The candidate should also have the ability to navigate multiple sources of information to learn new technologies.

    Prerequisites:
    Education and/or Experience:
    Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Travel Required:
    This position would require travel within our territory.
    Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient with PCs, including hardware and software.
