Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:
Main point of contact for Dealers, National Accounts, Direct Sales Accounts & Field Sales Team. Assist Independent Reps as may be necessary. Performs a variety of administrative, customer service and sales functions. Interface and liaison responsibilities with corporate, field and customers relative to operations, credit, product and sales issues. Disseminates information received to make objective decisions and recommendations in the best interest of Muratec and customer. Heavy inbound and outbound telephone responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Audit and entry of customer orders and internal orders within established guidelines.
  • Review of order status reports to ensure timely shipment.
  • RMA and credit memo processing.
  • Obtains proof of deliveries.
  • Facilitates MAI CRM access for dealerships as needed. Liaisons with Web Master and IT to resolve customer’s issues.
  • Process and monitors new account packages.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare, distribute and monitor new dealer contracts, cancellations, warning and probation paperwork.
  • Prepare and distribute routine reports and special sales reports as directed.
  • Customer support: pricing, order status, shipping information, special programs, product information, problem resolution, expedites.
  • Sales support: Sales information, contest information, product availability, dealer issues, updates, customer updates, and issue resolution.
  • Inside sales responsibilities including telemarketing as assigned.
  • Provides administrative support to manager as needed, assist with pricing database.
  • Backup for MDS (CPC) and compatible toner program order processing as needed.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Normal, non-smoking office environment.

    Job Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education/Experience
    Any combination of education and experience that would result in the prerequisite skill and knowledge to perform the duties as described. A typical example would be two years college and three years of customer service, sales, or sales oriented administrative support experience.

    Skill/Knowledge Requirements

  • Written, oral and listening communication skills must be at a level to effectively provide interact effectively with Muratec executives, management, representatives, dealers, and customers.
  • Good problem solving and time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills to address issues that may arise.
  • Proficient and experienced with the use of Windows, Microsoft Office programs, a comparative database and similar office software and data entry required.
  • Experience with salesforce or similar sales CRM program helpful.
  • IBM AS400/i-515 experience helpful.

    Physical Requirements
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to use computer proficiently.
  • Clear speaking voice for heavy phone usage.
  • Must be able to perform normal office functions i.e. sitting for long periods of time, stooping, bending, twisting, etc.

    Mental Requirements
  • Ability to analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.
  • High pressure to meet deadlines, especially at end of month.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work under deadline pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills must be at level to maintain good rapport with customers while upholding policies.
  • Outgoing, friendly attitude. Professional demeanor.
