Job Description

OBJECTIVE
The Subject Matter Expert (SME), Precision Label Series (PLS) supports both field area sales managers and authorized dealers in their label equipment sales pursuits. In addition, the SME is responsible for creating and maintaining his or her own customer base of high-end label and packaging customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support area sales managers and authorized dealerships in their efforts to sell label production equipment throughout his or her assigned territory
  • Assist area sales managers and authorized dealerships in identifying, qualifying and visiting prospects and current customers within his or her assigned territory
  • Acquire new label equipment customers by cold-calling, telemarketing and other various methods
  • Be accountable for assigned metrics within his or her assigned territory
  • Drives and achieves assigned label production equipment revenue and unit targets through authorized dealers and direct sales
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and work processes throughout the selling process
  • In all situations, represent Muratec to customers, employees, vendors and other business associates in a positive manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of five years proven sales experience in the label and packaging industry
  • Four year college degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of competitive equipment, applications and solutions
  • Strong presentation, time management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Up to 75 percent travel required
  • RIP software and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred
  • Must have good attitude, high energy and persistence with a “team player” mindset
  • Able to handle occasional rejection

    SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS OR LICENSES
    Must have a valid state drivers’ license, good driving record, and be willing to use personal transportation for company business. Must be able to lift equipment up to 60 lbs.
