Job Description

Coach, mentor, motivate and develop direct reports in performing their job responsibilities. Assist in developing and growing the team in strength and efficiency. Assess work and provide meaningful feedback. Ensure policy and procedures are followed to foster a high performance team and department. Participate in KM-1 field support rotation schedule.


  • Foster a high performance environment where staff can excel and provide our customers with exceptional support
  • Monitor performance statistics for individuals and identify areas of opportunity
  • Review and monitor attendance and team overtime; time sheet review and approval
  • Engage with manager to discuss team progress and/or concerns, interview potential candidates and ensure proper coverage for business needs
  • Write and conduct approved performance appraisals; conduct mentoring sessions with staff to discuss job performance
  • Visit accounts on a reoccurring cycle to assess press performance
  • Create and apply action plans to improve press performance and monitor to resolution including corrective action if necessary. Implement quality control audits, process standardization and tracking.
  • Manage all concerns escalated to KMI
  • Review site location daily reports and follow up with any concerns
  • Maintain the team field and phone support rotation schedule
  • Research and resolve escalated calls from internal/external customers
  • Develop, recommend and implement plans and policies to support strategic business objectives and budgets
  • Participate in learning opportunities and stay current with latest technology
  • Support KM-1 customer sites on a limited rotation basis
  • Complete projects and tasks as assigned by management
  • Participate in customer PAR reviews when needed

  • Ability to problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Computer skills- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • High school or equivalent, BS or BA preferred.
  • 3-4 years in people management and industry area knowledge.
  • Prior management experience.
  • Print shop experience.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more to support the servicing of the AccurioJet KM-1 press.
  • The employee is required to use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, tools and computer controls.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

    ADDITIONAL COMMENTS (i.e. travel, shift work, etc.)
  • Travel to all customer sites is required.

    This position may be located in Phoenix, Arizona or remotely, dependent on where the most qualified candidate is identified.
