General DescriptionSuccessfully launch, market and foster the sales of both 3rd party and KMBS developed software and hardware “solutions”.
The Program Manager position is a corporate support role within the Enterprise Content Management department. The purpose of the position is to provide launch and manage ECM solutions within a product line category that delivers measurable contribution as a business unit.
This candidate must be able to communicate within all areas of the company to define product needs, business requirements, marketing communications, etc. The key role is tactical and strategic, and will be expected to work cross functionally to resolve partner issues and channel conflicts and to ensure all customer satisfaction goals are met, while supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES May Include but not limited to
Become a “Subject Matter Expert” for the solutions that you manage.
Managing vendor relationships representing the entire product line and life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, pricing, documentation and other collaterals.
Work with new vendors/partners to execute teaming agreements, facilitate vendor setup, and create pricing templates. You will also help create the Variant Configuration Pricing information as part of the vendor parts management process.
Liaison with Product Marketing to ensure Partners is aware of upcoming developments.
Understand and be able to specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and potential customers.
Support Program Managers with strategic vendor’s relations where appropriate.
Work directly with Vertical Solutions Managers to create a complimentary portfolio of vertical and horizontal solutions.
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Develop highly tailored content for presentations, demonstrations, datasheets, white papers, customer case studies that highlight the value proposition of the Konica Minolta Enterprise Content Management offering.
Develop sales support tools including educational and product launch collaterals.
Develop and maintain relationships with partners’ channel account management team. Understand partner market requirements and positioning.
Support partners with SEC for bEST Certification.
Host ongoing partner/vendor-led training to the ECM Team and KM Sales (Dealer and Direct).
Communicate clearly and effectively with all teams that are crucial to the successful launch of products, solutions and services; communication must occur on a consistent and timely basis
Maintain excellent working rapport with ECM Team.
Work with vendors/partners to distribute Dealer maintenance renewal notices.
Maintain pricing in the system through periodic updates.
Monitor and maintain accurate pricing in published price books.
Work as a part of cross-functional teams to add new products to SAP and maintain a high awareness of changes within the ECM Solution portfolio.
Assist the Learning Group, Service Training, SSD and ESS and all support departments with required materials and information necessary for these departments to develop the respective materials necessary to support the product launch efforts.
Communicate clearly and effectively with all teams that are crucial to the successful launch of products, solutions and services; communication must occur on a consistent and timely basis.
Help define product pricing and SKU strategies.
Assist with the development of case studies, video testimonials etc.
Additional duties as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related business experience.
3+ years’ experience in software product management or related field, preferably in the office equipment, software or professional services industry.
Specific Enterprise Content Management Market Expertise is desired.
Sales and business development skills and experience
Strong written and oral communication skills at multiple levels of an organization with organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple objectives collaboratively and independently.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.
OTHER SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience in launching products, solutions and/or services with deployment tied to ROI.
Exceptional people and management skills to interact with KMBS staff, ECM Staff colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third party partners.
This position requires travel to business units, customer and non-customer sites in North America (25%).
Analytical, strategic, a good writer, good in front of customers.
Aptitude for and initiative to learn new technologies, products, solutions and services.
Driven to solve tough and interesting problems.
Can adapt to changing conditions.
Enjoy meeting with internal and external customers and working to foster solutions with them.

Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
