The primary function of the Production Print Specialist is to support DSM’s in their territories on the Color and B&W Production Print products as well as manage assigned dealerships and Direct Branches within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within an organization and possess the knowledge and skills sets to evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while supporting the Territory DSM. Candidates should live within the Greater New England Market.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have a good understanding of Networking and other network-connected related devices. (Fiery, Creo and IPS, etc.).
Work closely with Primary DSM’s to assist in support of the Production Print Color and B&W products through troubleshooting and technical seminars with DSM’s and Dealer technicians.
Work closely with internal technical and engineering staff to define, communicate and resolve potential issues and initiate Engineering escalations via ESS team as needed.
Assist in the development of assigned Dealer base while assessing the knowledge level of the technical staff.
Assess and make recommendations for organizational improvements, staffing and training needs to best support Konica Minolta products.
Submit reports on Dealer visitation as well as technical information of Konica Minolta product as it relates to performance in the field.
Applicant will be service trained on all products and be able to effectively troubleshoot and repair problem equipment.
Must work closely with sales counterparts to communicate Dealer information and needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMust have excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Service Management software
The ability to resolve both technical and customer relations issues.
The insight to assist the Dealer Principal/Service Manager in assessing the managerial and technical abilities of the service staff. Advise on implementation of appropriate development activities. Present findings to Dealer or Branch Management as needed.
A current and through knowledge of all Konica Minolta products.
Understand, communicate, present and support all Konica Minolta programs and policies.
A+, N+, CDIA, MCP, MCSE certifications desired.
Color Care Training
Fiery, Creo and IPS certification
Desire to continually learn while maintaining industry certifications
This position requires extensive travel throughout the entire East Region (approximately 80%)
