Job Description

Position Summary:
The Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up mail and copy jobs for one of our local customer’s locations as scheduled. .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick-up mail, copy jobs and equipment at customer locations daily.
  • Pick up and deliver outgoing packages and parcels.
  • Provide delivery to board members as needed.
  • Follow vehicle operating polices, follow the driving route and stay on schedule.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous driving manner.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure that it remains neat and orderly
  • Perform copy center operations tasks and produce copy jobs as needed.
  • Process USPS mail services including posting, sorting and mailing items.
  • Provide coverage as needed for other locations.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with co-workers and customers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications Job Requirements Education:
    • HS diploma or equivalent Experience
    • Relevant driving experienced required
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history

    Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee will drive regularly on a frequent basis. Physical activity required including frequent bending and reaching. Possess the ability to lift 50 lbs. on an as needed basis is required. Travel to client sites or other service locations is expected.

    Special Requirements (Please list such as overnight travel, training or certification that must be completed after employment begins, etc.):
  • Must maintain a valid local driver's license (DC, MD, or VA).
  • Must maintain appropriate personal auto insurance coverage.
  • Clean driving record - Must meet insurance underwriting requirements.
