Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Provides technical leadership in pre and post sales environments for Industrial Print Solutions (specifically SuperWeb WebJet 200D and 100D).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs Operator Training, Advanced Operator Training
  • Analyzes customer needs and creates Statement of Work
  • Demonstrate and enhances proposed solutions for WebJet 100/200D
  • Provides Dealer and Direct Industrial Print sales teams in with proposal support by documenting appropriate workflow and ROI
  • Identifies areas for third party integration and solutions opportunities - specifically in Transactional, Direct Mail & Publishing Markets
  • Works closely with Industrial Print Sales Specialists
  • Works with client including primary contact, operators and supporting staff, to ensure live-production projects are meeting objectives as to quality and workflow
  • Provides fee-based project consulting on an ongoing basis once D&A is signed and all applications identified within the Statement Of Work are properly functioning
  • Acts as the Technical relationship manager for non-service related technical discussions
  • Technical expert in finishing from roll to roll, roll to cut, roll to perf (w or w/o cut) roll to fold and roll to punch or any combination of above
  • Help develop new opportunities and volumes within the account for other Industrial Print opportunities

    Job Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Individual will have 10+ years’ experience in the Production Print industry including offset and digital
  • Individual will have at least 2+ years’ experience in the Industrial print industry or an adjacent area
  • Strong analytical and expert problem solving skills, sales, and project management skills.
  • Individual must have the ability to navigate complex organizations, develop trust-based relationships, and drive concrete results using a thorough understanding of applications software and hardware and their role in customer operations.
  • Candidate must have proven ability to work with software technology partners at the business development and implementation level
  • Have a strong drive and exhibit themselves as a results oriented individual with experience leading complex sales and/or implementations within the Production Print arena
  • This individual also must demonstrate strong professional maturity as well as strong cross-group collaboration and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions, and respond quickly to multiple issues.
  • Ability to execute strategic thinking, customer orientation, open & effective communication
  • Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and very strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written Communications Skills
  • Working knowledge of networking, PC & Mac workstations, workflow solutions and color management theory

    OTHER SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Travel is required, approximately 50%
  • Ability to speak in public forum
