As an Account Executive – IT Solutions at SymQuest you will work to actively grow our business, winning new customers and selling deeper into your growing client base. You will create long-term, trusting relationships with new and existing customers by satisfying their IT needs. You will help SymQuest to create raving fans every day through your dedication to exceeding client expectations in customer service.

How you develop your business:

  • Maintain and develop a high degree of knowledge about SymQuest support services, as well as industry hardware and software solutions which will make you a valuable asset to prospective clients.
  • Develop our market through business development initiatives and networking activities such as mixers, tradeshows, Chamber of Commerce events etc. as well as by soliciting references from existing SymQuest customers.
  • Reach out into our hundreds of local existing happy, loyal clients to introduce (cross sell) them to the benefits of leveraging our IT network services offerings.
  • Leverage social media to establish yourself as a thought leader and expand your relationships within the community.
  • Evangelize to those prospects the many benefits of working with SymQuest, earning their business by seeking first to understand their business needs & challenges and then aligning our offerings to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with your SymQuest engineering, support and fellow sales teammates to customize solutions for your clients.
  • Relentlessly pursue the goal of exceeding client expectations, making you and SymQuest a critical part of their IT landscape.
    OK, once clients are on board, why will your clients love working with you?
  • You jointly develop and manage a Technology Roadmap with them.
  • Review monthly Network Health reports to help you identify issues, before they impact their business.
  • Maintain accurate detail of all their critical assets using well-developed SymQuest systems.
  • Collaborate with your SymQuest teammates to proactively identify technology gaps, issues and vulnerabilities in their technology ecosystem.
  • Work with your SymQuest manager to develop and maintain your own business plan – your path to success, assuring you achieving your product, labor and contract revenue growth sales and career goals.

    Job Requirements

    This is you!

  • You have a Bachelor's degree and/or minimal 4 years prior sales experience, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Your sales background includes formal sales training, even if in other fields.
  • You are motivated, have a drive for results, are entrepreneurial with a desire to be part of a rapidly growing business.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop new business, and you excel in a target oriented environment while hitting or over performing on set numbers and goals.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • You quickly and efficiently learn new processes and can learn new systems.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • You have active listening skills.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to hold yourself and others accountable.
  • You are comfortable speaking with Financial/ Executive level contacts, as well as IT staff.
  • You should have a general knowledge of networking and IT products and solutions
    and an ability to learn quickly.
  • You’re an early adopter of new technologies
  • You enjoy working in a team environment but self-disciplined and self-driven is a must.
  • You have the ability to assemble resources to address issues as they arise and develop action plans.
  • You are proficient with Social Media Platforms such as Linked In, Twitter, and Facebook
